>kelly mentions in the director's commentary that he also drops elizabeth off at school

>basically plays the role of instigator in seeing donnie towards his goal of fixing the timelines. demonstrates omnipotence as a manipulated dead ('teleporting', opening portals, manipulating water, communicating telepathically with donnie etc); every time he appears to donnie he 1.) makes him sick to his stomach and 2.) brings him to a state of childlike regression

>also according to kelly, towards the end of the movie he becomes more casual with donnie and shows him his face because he's aware they're 'near the end'

>many things changed, physically, about frank between the draft script and the screen script: he was supposed to be tall and blonde but they liked james duval so much that they gave him the role despite him having dark hair and having an average 5'9" stature (vs. the six feet mentioned in the script). the original bunny suit was also white and matted with mud, with blood seeping out from under the mask's right eye to stain the suit

>frank's apperance is supposed to be disarming; underneath the scary mask/harsh words is a 'gentle', 'kind' looking 'kid' (his words not mine, lol)

>not much to note in the brief shot of his room; a workbench/table for art and candles by his bedside (adorned with black sheets/blankets)
